A VERY GIFTED ARTIST & MUSICIAN. CHRISTY BRINGS HER OWN UNIQUE STYLE TO HER ART, WHETHER IT'S THE FAIREY CROWN YOU SEE PICTURED AT RIGHT, HER NOSTALGIC HAND CRAFTED TABLES OR HER MIXED MEDIA CREATIONS.

Christy's mother Mary Lois (Scott) Pease was a very talented painter and her brother the late, great Jaime Pease was a well known, popular New England singer & songwriter from the 1960s thru the late 1990s. Her father Ben Pease, III created unique Bronze statues. Christy's talent developed as a young child growing up on the vast Pease Estate, in Grafton, Massachusetts. She was very attuned with nature and  loved all creatures with four legs: Whether it was Simon,The Cat; Michael Tristan,the Owl; Rowdy,The Dog; or Pooh Bear,The Racoon. She has always loved the outdoors and can be seen running around in shorts, barefeet & pigtails when others wear sweaters. She is well known in the community as an avid animal rights advocate and nature enthusiast. Christy Pease is a very close, lifelong friend of Lady T's and we are very proud to have Skyote Art & Design as our featured artist this month.

Once Upon A Family

 This montage table was created by Christy in memory of  her family and is a living testimonial of her heritage.

I’m super excited about being the artist of the month and I am very grateful to Lady T and The Charmed Witches for the opportunity. My mother and I used to do crafts all of the time, from making dollhouses to designing haunted houses each year.  I have always enjoyed making gifts for my friends and I have been heavily influenced by geek culture.

A year or so ago I started working with felt and fleece and what ensued was an explosion of creative ideas that begged to be created.  Geeky and Cheeky focuses on 4 Product Categories:  Puppets, Dolls, Spiritual Tools, and Geek Gifts. 

The Spiritual Tools are something I am particularly proud of as they are designed to make it easy for Pagan parents to share their spirituality with their children.  Our “My First” Play Sets are designed to be played with safely by children as they learn valuable lessons about the tools of Pagan spirituality and develop their gifts in a safe and fun way.

 I am adding new products all of the time so check back often to see what new things I’ve been up to.

I am an army brat who grew up traveling around the world. I find myself to be the easy going type, I don't bother stressing about much. After a move I would dive into books, because after moving so much sometimes I found it useless to get to know people who wouldn't be there in 6 months. Books were a good friend.. Mainly older Stephen King and Dean Koontz books.. As a child I gravitated towards more scary and horror type things. I was always more of a fan of the bad guy than the "hero". I began drawing at a very young age, mainly comic book style art, and recently(within the last year or so) began sculpting. It started with Zombies and Man-eating plants, and slowly grew into Scary and evil clowns.( A personal favorite villian of mine. ) Halloween is my favorite time of year and I would have it year round if I could... well, with the Cadaver Carnival I can.

Ralph Whalen, grew up in Marlborough, Mass

His Art started early in the 60's with coloring books and paints.Often bored in school his pencil drawings began to take on a life of their own. In Jr. High Ralph expanded his talent to water colors. "High" School brought  Oils along with Acrylics ; Sculpting with Terracotta, Clay; working with Plaster of Paris.

OUR FIRST MALE ARTIST, FRANK HINCKLEY ATTENDED THE NEW ENGLAND SCHOOL OF ART FROM 1971-1973. BORED WITH THE LIMITATIONS OF THE ART WORLD OF THAT TIME, FRANK TURNED HIS ATTENTION TO HIS SECRET PASSION OF MUSIC TO ORGANIZE "A WEEKEND OF MUSIC" A LOCAL MUSIC FESTIVAL IN MARLBORO, MA: THE FIRST OF IT'S KIND WITH OVER 20 BANDS EAGERLY PARTICIPATING.

FRANK WENT ON TO FORM THE LOCAL LEGENDARY ROCK BAND "THE RAW"  IN 1986; THEIR SONGS, WITH A CONTEMPORARY THEME OF MISOGYNY, HAD SUCH TITLES AS "WHORE" AND "2 GIRLS, ONE GUY" BUT ACTUALLY REFLECTED THE PLIGHT OF THE AVERAGE AMERICAN MALE'S FRUSTRATION OF TRYING TO FIND 'THE RIGHT WOMAN' YET ALWAYS FALLING SHORT OF PERFECTION.

SHORTLY AFTER THE RAW, FRANK BECAME ONE OF THE FOUNDING MEMBERS OF THE ALLENS ALONG WITH "KATZ", BILLY CLAIRE AND "SKIPPY" JOHNSON.THE ALLENS ARE SEEN HERE IN THIS PHOTO WITH NEW BASS PLAYER GARY STUCCHI.

THE ALLENS HAVE BEEN A POPULAR STAPLE IN THE NEW ENGLAND AREA FOR MANY, MANY YEARS AND APPEAR TO MUCH DELIGHT TO LIFELONG FANS AT SPEAKER'S NIGHTCLUB IN THEIR HOME TOWN OF MARLBORO, MA.

 Mystic Fae Fantasy Art showcases the art of fantasy artist, Kristin Palmer. Kristin was born on April 9th in the small state of Rhode Island, where she still currently resides. Kristin has been drawing and creating art since she could hold a pencil. Her love of the fae started when she was a young child and she was introduced to the work of fellow artists, Amy Brown and Jessica Galbreth. Kristin is entirely self taught and has had no formal art training.
Working almost entirely in watercolor, Kristin specializes in creating the haunting and mysterious world of the fae but she sometimes strays to creating whatever her muse happens to throw at her. As a budding artist Kristin is enthusiastically launching herself into a career as a professional artist. Kristin works at keeping her art fresh and new, and is always open to new and exciting artistic opportunities. Only time will tell what exciting things the future holds for her.
